Sweet Love Valentine Minis - Port Allen Baby and Children's Photographer
This was the first year I've hosted a set of Valentine minis and I must say HOW MUCH fun they were! Like any other mini I host, there was some type of last minute drama with the setup. It never fails, something goes wrong a day or two before the minis. This go 'round, it was backdrop drama. Due to the crazy weather we've had, my backdrop didn't make it to me in time. I guess there's only so much you can do when both bridges to your town are frozen and closed to traffic :( The Saturday before ...as in 24 hours before the scheduled sessions...., Brent and I set out to put together something that we hoped would be just as perfect as the original plan. Thanks to his help and a random crafty-DIY streak, I put together "the perfect" backdrop for these mini sessions. I thought before that what I worked up was what I wanted only to realize that THIS was exactly what I wanted the entire time. The original plan has NOTHING on this, this proved to me once again that everything happens for a reason. I love all the mix of colors and how they photographed for these minis! A quick trip to get some classic Valentine candy and a few items from around my house helped make these the amazingness that they are. Ahhhh, I just can't say enough about everything involved! The mason jars, DIY heart garland....chalkboards and trucks! I just love it all too much :)I'd like to send a huge hug and kiss to all of my clients that came out and were understanding of the last minute changes! Feel free to share this post with family and friends! At the bottom of the post, there are a few links to share on Facebook, Pinterest, or to email!Oh and apologizing for the size of this post, I am obsessed with pretty much every image that came from these. Choosing was one of the hardest things ever!
